Description

Traffic systems are a good way to teach control logic, because the rules are already familiar. Students build a street light that responds to darkness, a signal sequence that has to be timed correctly, a crossing that has to be safe, and a car park that counts what it holds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the road map included?

No. The sandbox map that the models sit on is bought separately — or see the QE036 display kit, which includes it.

Can four groups work in parallel?

Not from one kit. It has a single controller board, so the four projects are built one after another.

Why teach traffic systems?

The rules are already familiar to students, so the lesson can be about the control logic and timing rather than about explaining the scenario.
