Frequently Asked Questions

What does the memory function actually do?

You can move the arm through a sequence of positions, record it, and have the arm replay that sequence — the same teach-and-repeat principle industrial robot arms use.

Is it safe for students to operate?

The arm has limit protection so it cannot be driven past its safe range, and motion buffering to keep movement smooth rather than jerky. A non-slip sleeve and base pad keep it stable on a desk.

How is it controlled?

Three ways: the physical joystick, a web page, or the WiFi app. Coordinates can also be set directly in 3-axis space.

What do I need to supply?

Two 18650 button-top cells, which are not included in this version.
