The H2S is the H2D’s single-nozzle sibling: the same large enclosed chamber and the same class of machine, without the second extruder. If you need the build volume and the ability to print ABS, ASA and engineering filaments — but not two materials in one job — this is the one that makes sense.

This is the printer on its own. The H2S AMS Combo bundles an AMS unit for automatic multi-colour and multi-material printing.

The H2D has two nozzles and takes the laser and cutting modules. The H2S is the same large enclosed format with a single nozzle, for workshops that want the size and the chamber without the dual-extruder capability.
Why does the enclosure matter?
ABS, ASA and most engineering filaments warp and split on an open printer. A closed, warm chamber holds the part stable so the print finishes.
Does it do multi-colour?
With an AMS. The H2S AMS Combo includes one; an AMS can also be added later.
